Discover freeride in the mecca of off-piste skiing in Europe from the many easy accesses via the cable cars, you will quickly reach the the descents that have made the legend of Chamonix.


The only objective is to be fit enough to keep up with the pace that takes us. After each descent we want even more and the possibilities are great.

Difficulties

Off piste Level 2 - Advanced
  • Competent to ski in all snow types and all terrain up to slopes of 30 to 35º

  • Ski with a 3 to 6 kg backpack

  • Be capable of physical effort for 3 to 6 hours

  • Have the competence to use the relevant safety equipment (Transceiver, shovel, probe, ABS bag)

  • Be capable of descending 150 to 300m of elevation without stopping

Itinerary

Day 1

Meeting at 8am on the first day, in the Aiguille du Midi car park, to review the safety and ski equipment with the guide.
We will then leave for Les Grands Montets, in order to evaluate the level of the participants, both in skiing and safety.
From there, we will explore the area proposed by the Grands Montets. If necessary, we will use the ski touring equipment to reach even more remote places.

End of the day and debriefing over a drink in Chamonix.

day 2

Meeting point at 8am, on the Aiguille du Midi car park, and direction to the top of the Aiguille du Midi to descend the mythical Vallée Blanche.
The landscape around us is just beautiful and unique. 
We will use the ski touring equipment to reach hidden valleys or nearby passes.

Return to Chamonix on skis via the Cabane des Motets.
End of the day and debriefing over a drink in Chamonix.

day 3

Meeting point at 8am, on the Aiguille du Midi car park, and direction Courmayeur resort via the Mont Blanc tunnel.
We will slide in a vast area, offering descents worthy of a big ski resort. And all this facing the immense south face of Mont Blanc.
 
Return to Chamonix via the Mont Blanc tunnel.
End of the day, debriefing over a drink in Chamonix and end of the course.

  • The safety equipment (Probe, shovel, Tranceiver, Harness) is mandatory, equipment lent by the guide
  • Ski passes
  • Overnight accommodation described in the program

  • The meal at lunchtime for both you and your guide
  • Personal insurance covering the activity
  • All that is not included in "the price includes".
  • Personal expenses: additional drinks, energy bars, souvenirs, tips, etc.
  • Accommodation the night before, optional (room and breakfast)
