Itinerary

Day 1

Departure with the first train to reach the Montenvers station. We go up the Mer de Glace and on the right bank above the moraines we reach the base of the ridge of Flammes de Pierre by fixed ropes. This first day is very long and tiring because the bags are heavy, but the climbing does not exceed 5+. We are advancing as much as possible but we will have to stop bivouacking before crossing the Drus. 9 to 10 hours of walking and climbing.

Day 2

Today we climb the Drus by the classic traverse, then we look for a good bivouac location at the top of the Grand Dru or on the descent. 6 to 8 hours of climbing

Day 3

It is the turn of the Aiguille Sans Nom, 3982 m, and the Aiguille Verte, 4122 m, by the Sans Nom ridge. Mixed climbing where you will have to take out your crampons. At the top of the Verte, depending on the time, we will abseil down via the Whymper corridor or descend via the arête du Moine. Night at the Couvercle refuge, 2687 m. 10 to 12 hours of racing.

Day 4

Descend by the path and the ladders to reach Montenvers station then Chamonix in 3-4 hours.
